Carolyn Speer is the Director of the Office of Instructional Resources (OIR) at Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas. OIR is a team of 8 full-time employees dedicated to faculty training, online course design, course auditing, and accessibility.  OIR was central to WSU’s success at meeting our full accessibility guidelines by July, 2020. In addition to her work with OIR, Carolyn is the co-founder of the Kansas Accessibility Resources Network (KSARN.org) and consults regionally on accessibility. Carolyn is currently serving on the AHEAD Research Review Panel through 2021 and has been asked to join the Executive Board of the Greater Wichita chapter of DisabilityIn, an organization dedicated to helping employers achieve disability equity in employment.
