How this course works

You can read the pages in any order, and you do not have to mark a page complete to move to the next one. To earn your certificate, click Mark Complete on each lesson and topic as you finish it, then take the final quiz and score 85% or higher. When every page is complete and the quiz is passed, your certificate unlocks and you can download it anytime from the course page.

Presentations do not stop at the front of a room. You may record a lecture for an online class, live-stream an event, or travel to a conference to share your work. Each setting carries its own accessibility choices, and the person creating the presentation is the one responsible for getting them right.

This course covers two of those settings: online presentations and conference presentations. For online work, you will learn how to read your audience and delivery method to decide what a presentation needs. For conferences, you will learn how to represent your institution and your content well, work with the conference’s logistics, handle different session types, and interact respectfully with everyone in the room.

It pairs with the KSARN courses on Face-to-Face Presentations, Creating Accessible Digital Documents, and Accessible Video. Work through the lessons, then take the quiz. Score 85% or higher to earn your KSARN certificate.
