Build quizzes and tests
Build assessments that are fair and aligned to your objectives.
Canvas has two quiz engines: Classic Quizzes and New Quizzes. Instructure is developing New Quizzes going forward and recommends it for new work, so build new assessments in New Quizzes where your campus offers it. Tool availability varies by campus, which this course does not cover, so check what your institution has enabled.
Write each question to a specific objective. Set the number of attempts, any time limit, and when students see scores and feedback. Decide whether feedback releases immediately or after everyone has submitted.
