Introduction to Web Accessibility

Welcome to this short course on Web Accessibility.  This course is designed to get your feet wet and explain some concepts to you, with the assumption that you’re a user who creates content from time to time, probably using a What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get or WYSIWYG editor.  Our plan is to cover the basics of why Web accessibility matters, give you a basic framework for understanding the challenges, and then walk through the most important and prevalent issues that you’ll run into as you create your content.

By the time you complete this course, you should be able to explain the core concept of web accessibility, be able to create pages in a way that promotes good accessibility, and even correct issues when you find them.
